What a feather in the cap for Saint Michael’s Theological College at Llandaff. It seems here that maybe ‘small is beautiful’, and that a culture of encouragement among theologs to prepare for ministry in the ‘real world’ of prisons, and other work-based chaplaincies might just be what will bring the Anglican Church back into a culture of engagement with the common fundamental issues of life, concerning more than just an academic preoccupation with theological conundrums, and reaching out to the specific moral and spiritual needs of our modern world.
