Congratulations, Tobias, and Susan in particular. My guess is that all 3 bishops-elect will get the needed number of consents, but that one of them will be close.

I think that the Bps and Standing Committees who voted to approve the current Bp of SC may well feel that this is an opportunity to do the right thing, since they can’t go back and undo those consents to that liar.

I think I’m going to take an Advent Vow of Silence regarding the Fuzzy One of Lambeth.

It frosts me that Trinity is getting $350 (about 212 GBP/236 euros) per registrant on this, and I assume RW is getting paid.

I’ve tried and tried to give RW the benefits of a doubt, then had to stretch further to try to give him the benefits of a Machiavellian doubt. I’m tired, exhausted. Hard work. No results. I, personally, think that the ABC’s visit to the Trinity Institute, in Wall Street, would be a very good opportunity for lots of supporters of the LGBT community to inform the Archbishop of Canterbury about the immense damage his recent adverse reaction to TEC’s decision to ordain women and gays in stable relationships to the episcopate has done to loyal Episcopalians in the U.S.A. and Canada.
