From a brief period of listening to the Archbishop of York’s treatment of questions asked before the sessions of G.S. on Monday, it would seem that His Grace is not entirely convinced that the LGBT question ought to be given serious consideration by the Synod. This, of course, is quite compatible with his speech in the house of Lords on the issue of the Churches’ ability to discriminate against the employment of such people in ministry.
