I think that Bishop Winston is a great addition to your shared primacy in the Anglican Church of Aotearoa, New Zealand and the Pacific. One day perhaps +Winston’s voice and wisdom will be heard at Primates Meeting. He will assuredly extend a hand of peace and true Christianity to the primates of the Global South, but he will vehemently oppose their unchristian homophobia towards GLBT folks. He is a Doctor of Sociology. A dangerous breed, that lot, especially as clergy who hold great responsibility!
