Too early in the morning to read the whole of this but in the introduction I am struck by the frequent use of the word ‘protection’ in relation to those who might oppose the implementation of this bill. . What are they afraid of? That some people might have to recognise that same sex marriage will exist and would prefer to ignore it if possible?
