Doug Chaplin’s “Of tongues and translations” reminded me that love of God starts with the heart, then moves to the head and, ideally, back to the heart. And when the heart is involved, the raising of hands and other bodily movement (notwithstanding arthritis) happens. Or are we happy to sit and listen?

The comments on that Cranmer piece are a cesspit. We should ignore all allegations of child abuse for which there are not three independent witnesses, apparently.
