I have read GS Misc 1378 (AC activities report) & GS Misc 1381 (NST Update). I really hope I am wrong, but I can find no record of any discussion of any follow-up re the 21/6/23 termination of the ISB and the survivors left in torment by that decision? Are the 2 Archbishops, the NST, the AC etc really so uncaring and so determined to emulate the Priest and the Levite in the parable of the Good Samaritan that they simply refuse even to engage with any aspect pertaining to those of us whose lives they wilfully and deliberately blew… Read more »
If they are emulating characters from the Good Samaritan, I would not say it was the priest and the Levite. The band of robbers who attacked the unfortunate traveller in the first place may be a better fit.
Not a comment specifically on this paperwork, but one more broadly related to the ISB fiasco. I’m delighted to see that Jasvinder Sanghera has been appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire specially for services to victims of child abuse, among others.
I’m similarly delighted to see Alan Bates has been knighted.

Citation seems ‘strangely’ silent on all she did for victims of church-related abuse, as our only hope & advocate (until the AC put a stop to that).
If it helps, Simon, the summary listing in the Cabinet Office’s Transparency Data documentation says ‘… For services to the Victims of Child, Forced Marriage and Honour-Based Abuse’.
Wow, what a woman. Out of curiosity I googled the “Naz and Matt Foundation” and found it was set up to combat religious homophobia. No wonder the powers that be got rid of her. Way too much knowledge and strength and integrity on her side and way too much risk to their power, bad behaviour and mind games on the other side. Definitely sack the messenger.
Truly delighted Jasvinder’s work has been recognised and valued, this appointment is richly deserved.
To Simon Gell- it is hard to give you any adequate reply as you continue to be hung out to dry by the archbishops and all their chums . All the ‘interim measures ‘ trumpeted last July are obviously just so much window dressing. They should all be ashamed and a lot of us feel for you and others in your position Simon S – well done for finding the citation for Jasvinder.
