It has been a pleasure to serve the church under Bishop David. His wise and gentle approach will be missed by many.

Many agree with you, both in the Diocese and beyond. David has been tremendously gracious in response to how he has been treated by various senior powers in the Church of England.
He may not have been diocesan; however, his circle of influence is considerable. He is a voice for inclusion amongst the bishops of the CofE, his ecumenical work with IARCCUM and PORVOO speaks for themselves. Please pray for the Diocese in Europe, that a worthy successor to Bishop David may be found and pray that David may have a wonderful retirement.
