Today’s Church Times contains two news reports which relate to the continuing discussions leading up to the November General Synod meeting.

• New ‘Living with Difference’ group is briefed to work for unity over same-sex blessings
  This reports that the new (then unnamed) group first announced on 7 August is called “Living with Difference” and that some guidance documents have been issued for it.
• Archbishops under pressure from conservatives in row over canons and same-sex blessings
  This reports that a further letter was sent on 14 August from (almost) the same group that wrote this letter dated 3 July. The text of the new letter has not yet emerged.
